Security Grilles retract fully to allow 100% access to doors and the full opening of windows. Innovative design and the use of modern manufacturing techniques has led to the development of the high specification range of retractable security grilles that form an effective barrier against intruders, whilst retaining the appearance of the building that is being protected.

Roché retractable security grilles provide excellent physical protection at many different levels of risk for domestic, commercial, and government use. The comprehensive product range, along with a variety of options and a bespoke design service, means that security grille solutions can be successfully developed to meet your physical security issues. Manually operated via a retractable track system, the security grilles can be single grid and bunch to one side or double grid with bunches either side. The standard paint finish is White (RAL 9016), although the security grilles can be powder coated any RAL colour if required to match building aesthetics. Product development is ongoing and Roché can also offer customers a unique cage system to provide high security areas within an existing workspace. Access to the cage can be restricted to authorised personnel, allowing security staff to patrol the rooms without the need to enter the protected zone.

In addition to traditional retractable grilles, Roché offer fixed grid grilles in the same style to ensure quality aesthetics.

Roché has also developed the Crime Shield product to offer security and glass protection in low security applications where vandalism is an issue.    

Diamond

Diamond security grilles are an excellent deterrent against opportunist intruders and offer effective protection in lower risk areas, particularly when used in conjunction with electronic security systems.

They are often used in the home to protect you and your valuables. They are also frequently installed in other residential premises, such as care homes and student accommodation.

They provide an effective solution for those working within budgetary constraints and can also be used in combination with other Roché products, which can be matched to different levels of risk.

Classic

Designed to provide a good level of protection from attack, Classic security grilles are widely used in domestic, commercial and public sector premises. They are an effective obstacle against intruder entry and are most effective when used in conjunction with electronic security systems.

Classic grilles are installed in a wide range of premises to protect assets, data and staff. The high quality aesthetic appearance of the grilles enables them to be used unobtrusively in all locations.

Elite

Elite security grilles provide an excellent level of protection, even against determined attack. Hardened steel rods, contained within the profile of the grille, together with hardened steel links, provide good resistance to hacksaw or drill attacks.

Multi-point locking, with top and bottom shoot bolts and a central hook bolt, is fitted as standard on Elite grilles, providing an extra safety benefit because they can also be locked in the open position.

Elite grilles are installed in many premises to protect valuable assets, data or documents. These include government departments, financial and insurance institutions, museums and art galleries, media, IT and pharmaceutical companies, as well as being used for home protection.

Eclipse

Eclipse security grilles have been successfully tested to British Government specifications and are an officially approved product.

Eclipse grilles have been developed to meet the demanding needs of modern day security. For government, companies, organisations and authorities they offer the highest levels of retractable grille protection, combined with aesthetics that blend with almost any environment.

The grilles have the smooth action and user-friendly features of all Extendor® products.

Eclipse grilles have such strength that in bomb blast tests they still retained their security properties. Even after the blast, the grille could be opened as a means of escape. Used in conjunction with laminated glass the grille contributed to minimising the risk of injury.

The lock open facility reduces the risk of hostage entrapment in the event of a serious security violation. This is a feature that is strongly recommended by security specialists.

Crime Shield

The system complements existing windows and doors whether classical or contemporary, traditional or modern. It is a durable metal screen mounted in front of or behind existing windows. It is not a film or a fly-screen. Shield protects property and glazing by preventing access to windows. Various fixing options can accommodate all window types. Manufacture and installation can often be more economical than frequently replacing the glazing or paying increased insurance premiums. The system is manufactured from 2mm thick specially perforated steelplate, finished in external grade polyester powder coat paint, mounted into a two part extruded mitred and welded aluminium frame. The perforated screen offers protection against unauthorised access to the property through the window, or door, whilst also protecting the glass against blows, rocks or even air gun pellets. The fixings are neatly recessed within the frame and finished with a cap. From a distance Crime Shield merely gives the impression that the windows are fitted with tinted glass; but at close quarters it's a visible deterrent to would-be burglars or glass smashing vandals.
